Well, there is definitely no hiding the fact that I'm pregnant now. I am now 30 weeks along, in the home stretch and this is where things start to get a bit uncomfortable. There is no more Belly Belt, I believe it would pop if I tried to use it now. There is no more Bando, as there is no chance that any pre-pregnancy clothes fit me in any way anymore. Full scale maternity wear is required now.
A new discovery during the joyful third trimester is that it is quite difficult to put socks and shoes on. At this stage during my last pregnancy it was summer and I lived in thongs. Now in good old Melbourne it's a very chilly winter time, and putting on socks and shoes is very challenging since it's difficult to actually see my feet yet alone reach them. Another big difference this time around is that I have a 15 month old who insists on throwing his blocks and other small toys all around the living room several times a day, requiring me to bend over or worse, get on my hands and knees to retrieve them, also not an easy feat at the moment.
But there are some perks to being so pregnant - naps are very acceptable, and I am also able to get out of a bit of housework as my husband thinks it's very important for me to "rest". Bless him. Plus I get more room in the bed simply because I now take up most of it.
