Basically since I had my first baby 15 months ago I have been searching for the perfect nappy bag. This has not been an easy task. I was originally using cloth nappies and was finding it completely impossible to fit in enough nappies for a day, plus a bottle and a spare, a change of clothes and all the other essential things a first time mum needs for their tiny little person. I tried two or three different types and different styles before giving up. I got a Toy Story pack back and used that for the baby stuff while I carried around a handbag for myself.
Now that I am expecting baby number two, the need for a nappy bag is creeping back. Carrying the backpack and a handbag is just getting to be hard work. A simple trip to the shops requires me to load up the car with bags that I normally don’t need, and I don’t want to be adding another bag to that list of things as well as another baby.
So I have reinvestigated my nappy bag options, and made a very brave purchase. And so far (even though I don’t have baby number two yet) it is working out very well. I purchased the Oi Oi Red Tote Diaper Bag. It’s a big handbag that has heaps of external pockets which carry my wallet, dummies, phone and all the other small stuff that would normally get lost inside a big bag. The internal space has heaps of room – at the moment I am keeping a nappy wallet which holds wipes, nappies and nappy bags for when I am out with the boy, and when I am out and about minus baby I can just take the nappy wallet out and use it as a normal handbag. It also has the stroller straps which makes it very easy to attach to my pram, and I can see it will easily hold spare changes of clothes and extra nappies for when my number two arrives. Plus it comes with the normal Oi Oi accessories – bottle warmer, change mat and wipes container.
So if you are looking for a nappy bag that looks like a regular handbag and has heaps of room for EVERYTHING you will need, I highly recommend this bag. It looks great too. Check it out at our website now.
